Three students posing in front of a red mustangA letter from a Graebner Elementary  student put into drive a recent visit from Ford Motor Executives - complete with ten special guests.

Twenty executives from the automaker answered Brooke Mery's letter by bringing ten new mustangs to the school to show her and her classmates.

Mery wrote the letter as part of a class assignment that required  Graebner Elementary fifth-grade students to write a letter to a business  with a compliment, suggestion or complaint.

She chose to compliment the automaker.

"I like how you are building more plants in Michigan," she wrote.

She also said she appreciated how the company is "inspiring young college students to work for you someday. My grandpa used to work for you and someday I want to as well."

The car executives spoke to students about job opportunities and allowed them to look over the new mustangs.

Mery, who is in Stephanie Raezler's class, called the experience a "one in a lifetime opportunity."

She said: "It shows if you work hard enough, anything could happen."
